What are ISC's coaching principles?
In the spirit of recreational soccer:
- This is recreational soccer – where teaching the kids soccer and having fun are the top priorities.
- All players get at least 50% playing time (unless serious discipline issues).
- All players are treated with respect, encouragement and positive reinforcement as we teach them the game of soccer.
- All referees are treated with the utmost respect. Coaches should never argue calls, enter the field without permission, intimidate the referees or talk badly about them to players.
- Coaches will control their players and parents (anyone on their sideline) and ensure a positive environment at practices and games.
