What is a user account?

A user account is a collection of information, including a username and password, which identifies and authenticates a user on the club Web site. Having a user account on the Web site allows you to log in to the Web site using a username and password.

An anonymous users is a person browsing the club Web site who has not identified who they are by logging in with a username and password. We do not allow anonymous users to add or update content on the site. Each person who manages content on the site must have an activated user account and be logged in to the Web site with that account. There is also content that can only be viewed when logged in with a user account that is a member of a specific role.
